PC Using Internet Explorer

Problem: You never get the chance to enter the password, it just comes up as "Invalid Password" as soon as you click the link. The problem likely is, your security settings are too high.

Solution:

  • Go to the "tools" menu and select "Internet Options"
  • Click on the "Security" Tab
  • Select "Internet" (The globe image)
  • Click "Custom Level" Button
  • Below the list, at the bottom of the window, in the "reset custom settings" area, click the popup menu (looks like a little down triangle or arrow) and select "medium"
  • Click "OK"
  • Click "Apply"
  • Close the Window
  • You should see a window to enter your password in now, remember, it is all lowercase. You might need to quit internet explorer and reopen after the fix is complete.

Problem: Videos won't play. The problem likely is, you don't have quicktime installled.

Solution:

  • Go to the website www.apple.com/quicktime/download
  • Select the quicktime without itunes
  • Uncheck the sign up boxes (So you won't get a bunch of junk email from apple)
  • Skip entering your e-mail, it is not necessary
  • Click the "Free download Now"
  • Decline any upgrade offers
  • Select the "Run" Option
  • Go through the normal install process
  • Videos should work now. You might need to quit internet explorer and reopen after the fix is complete.
